I am a textile artist and an acrylic painter living in Cornwall. My mother taught me to sew from the age of 4 years old. I have been using both free hand stitch and sewing machine ever since. Most of my work involves taking control of the sewing machine’s free motion to create my own artists pallet and produce both 3D and framed pictures.
The Cornish landscape is very inspiring and I work creating scenes of sea and land. My latest work is of the Tsunami in Japan 2011. I felt so moved by the scenes of devastation and also the power of nature. My work has been appreciated worldwide.
